2018 Volkswagen Atlas Revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show

On November 18, 2016, VW introduced the new 2018 Volkswagen Atlas SUV for the first time at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The new 7-passenger model is going to be priced to stay competitive in the market. It will be available with a V6 engine and 4Motion (AWD) or front wheel drive, in addition to a 2.0 TSI gas engine. This is the 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack (essentially a lifted Sportwagen with all-wheel-drive (4Motion). I took it around the block and it feels like a longer, lifted Golf. The long wheelbase really helps with rough roads. The 4Motion all wheel drive system makes the Alltrack feel more planted on the road than a GTI. DSG is standard, and so is the 1.8L TSI gas engine.
