Audi is Preparing to Invade North America
At this year's Los Angeles Auto Show, everyone and their mother noticed that the event was SUV/CUV-centric. It makes sense, though, because the numbers prove that SUV and CUV models from Acura to Volkswagen (even Toyota) are outselling passenger cars.
2018 Volkswagen Atlas Revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show
On November 18, 2016, VW introduced the new 2018 Volkswagen Atlas SUV for the first time at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The new 7-passenger model is going to be priced to stay competitive in the market. It will be available with a V6 engine and 4Motion (AWD) or front wheel drive, in addition to a 2.0 TSI gas engine. The vehicle size is on par with a large SUV. This quick walk-around video shows some of the features and design of the Atlas SEL.
2016 Los Angeles Auto Show Highlights

Porsche 718 Cayman: Still Sultry
At this year's LA Auto Show, Porsche was in their usual space. Confined to a luxury sky-box style suite, away from the riff-raff and existing in its own special world. Getting past the security guards was no problem, since my media pass was clearly visible. The biggest problem, however, was getting unobstructed views of any Porsche. The display was exciting and full of perfection. I did get lucky enough to capture the new 4-cylinder turbo Porsche 718 Cayman in a wonderful silver hue. Catch all the glimmering details on this wonderfully optioned example. Who wouldn't want one?
2017 Volvo XC90 Excellence - USA Ride and Drive $105k
There will only be 250 examples of the 4-seat, 4-Passenger 2017 Volvo XC90 Excellence in the United States. Let's see what makes this XC90 so – Excellent! Keep in mind this vehicle is using the same wheelbase as all other XC90 models, the real magic happens on the inside of the cabin, where the rear seats are replaced by the front seats. It gets more eccentric from there.
